Deaths and Funerals
Jane Clint, there passed away during the night at the Brockville
General Hospital a very highly respected resident of Brockville in the
person of Miss Jane Clint. She died following an illness of two
months.
The late Miss Clint was
born at Smith Falls, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Clint,
pioneer residents of that place. She came to Brockville 40 years ago,
and being an expert dress and mantle maker, was in the employ of the
late George Hutcheson for some years. Later she was with the Robert
Wright Co., Ltd. She retired about three years ago. She was the last
surviving member of a family of seven. The late Edward Clint, the well
known undertaker and furniture dealer of this town, was a brother. She
was a member of the United church and was a person of truly religious
character. She held the deep respect in this life of many friends, all
of whom will hear with regret of her death.
The funeral will take
place on Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the residence of Joshua
Bolton, 57 James Street West.

Clint – At Brockville General Hospital, on August 20th,
1927, Miss Jane Clint, sister of the late Edward Clint. Funeral
service at the residence of Mr. Joshua Bolton, 57 James Street west,
Monday next at two o’clock. Interment in Brockville cemetery.
