Funeral Service
For the late Dr. Clint
Well Attended in
Winnipeg
Largely
attended, the funeral services for Dr. Gabriel John Clint, one of the
first dentists to practice in
Winnipeg,
prominent church worker and fraternity member, was held on Monday
afternoon. March 8th at
2:45 o’clock
at Grace
United
Church.
Many members of the Manitoba Dental Association, Masonic order and the
I.O.O.F. gathered to pay last respects, as well as friends, relatives
and fellow members of
Grace
church.
Rev. C.L. McIrvine, D.D. ministry of Grace United Church, conducted the
services and in his remarks paid high tribute to the character of Dr.
Clint. Rev. C. A. Sykes assisted. Dr. Clint is survived by his wife,
three sons, Dr. A.E.. Clint and M.B. Clint of
Winnipeg,
and J.F. Clint of
Detroit
Mich.
also five sisters, Mrs. E.G. Perley of Wolsey.
Sask.,
Mrs. A.A. Sykes and Mrs. Harold Aikins of
Winnipeg
and Misses Gertrude and Lillian at home. Dr Clint was an uncle of Mrs.
James Farrell and the Misses Clint of Smiths Falls.
